Our Harvey Beef community is still working to produce WA’s best beef, more than a century after it all began.
From the farmers we’ve worked alongside since the beginning, to the thriving regional communities and diverse people, Harvey Beef’s impact on Western Australia and beyond is bigger than beef.
Such as our impact on maintaining WA’s pristine lands and delicate ecosystems, which are unlike anywhere else on the planet. We ensure the health and welfare of our cattle is equal to the nutrition and flavour on our plates. It’s all part of making sure every Harvey Beef meal is Worth It.
It Takes a Village to Build a Community
Western Australia is, and has always been, our home. That’s why we work with local and regional communities to develop agricultural education and employment opportunities for WA.

Black Dog Ride
The Black Dog Ride is a charity that promotes mental health awareness and is particularly active in rural areas. The Black Dog Ride Charity Auction steer is donated every year by a Western Australian cattle farmer and is normally auctioned off at the Perth Royal Show, with all proceeds going to the Black Dog Ride charity.
The Black Dog Ride Steer Auction is the brainchild of Dardanup beef producers Peter and Judy Milton, who set it up in 2011 when they realised so many regional Australians were suffering with depression. Harvest Road Group and Harvey Beef have been long time supporters of this charity auction.

Albany’s STEM Career Expo
Some of the team from Harvey Beef met with students from year’s 8-10 from schools across the southwest. It was a great opportunity to promote the different skills and jobs available within the region and engage with students about the many diverse career paths in the science and agricultural fields. Also, a great opportunity to talk more about what Harvey Beef does and the diverse range of job skills we employ.
