Harvey Beef Reserve Brings Live Smoking BBQ Comp to The Camfield

On October 12th 2024 at the Camfield, 10 teams competed for the last points of the season in this Kansas City Barbeque Society (KCBS) sanctioned event, alongside demonstrations for the public from Vincenzo Garreffa of Mondo, a special smoked meats menu from The Camfield, a special brew by Little Creatures and Fremantle Octopus, live entertainment and face painting.

The Australian chapter of the Kansas City Barbeque Society (KCBS) hosts regular internationally accredited competitions here in Perth, attracting BBQ-masters from across the city, ready to set up camp and spend 24 hours putting together their best cook across multiple proteins, ready for judging. These events, while open to the public, haven’t had a public facing element – until this event.
