Steps
- Slice one whole brown onion then place on a hot griddle pan or bbq
- Seasoning generously with salt, pepper, garlic powder then add 2 tbsp of unsalted butter.
- Grill until caramelised and softened, then remove and set aside
- Open up the Harvey Beef Burger patties and place on the hot grill with a slight overlap in the middle
- Season the tops with salt, pepper, garlic powder, then press down with a weighted burger press or spatula
- Allow to cook for 4-5 minutes then flip for a further 2 minutes
- Spread a generous layer of kewpie mayo on top of 2 slices of thick cut rye bread and place on the grill
- Place a slice of high melt burger cheese on top of the patties and cook for a further 2 minutes
- Add the caramelised onions on top of 2 cooked burger patties on the grill
- Stack two cooked patties and onion on top of the toasted bread
- Stack the other two on top then transfer to a plate
- Add a generous lashing of ketchup and American mustard
- Slice in half and ENJOY!
