Oven-Roasted Tomahawk
Signature flavours and finish on this delicious @harveybeefwa Tomahawk, but now you can all try this in the oven at home. No BBQ required for this one!
Steps
- Place the Beef Tomahawk on a roasting rack.
- Apply American Mustard as a binder to all sides.
- Generously apply your favourite BBQ Beef Rub to all sides.
- Place into a preheated fan forced oven set to 120C.
- Allow to roast for 75-90 minutes until the beef tomahawk has hit an internal temperature of 54C.
- Turn the oven to high grill and allow to grill for 2-3 minutes on both sides.
- Once you have a delicious putter crust, remove and allow to rest for 10 minutes.
- Slice and serve with your favourite sauce. We suggest a fresh and zingy Chimichurri Sauce.
