Smoked Cheeseburger Meatballs
The NEW @harveybeefwa Gourmet Selection range has landed at Coles and we've leveled up the Meatballs with this epic BBQ recipe.
Steps
- Slice pickles and mozzarella cheese in to small cubes.
- Push a piece of the sliced pickle and mozzarella in to the middle of each meatball and seal gently.
- Place on a wire rack and season lightly with salt and cracked pepper.
- Place in the Smoker or BBQ set to roughly 130C cooking temp for 45 minutes.
- Meanwhile prepare the burger sauce in a small bowl.
- Add 1/2 cup kewpie mayo, 3 tbsp ketchup, 3 tbsp American mustard, 1 tsp worcestershire sauce and 1 tsp pickle juice.
- Mix well and transfer in to a sauce bottle.
- Remove the smoked meatballs from the Smoker and stack on a plate.
- Sprinkle sesame seeds lightly over the top of the meatballs.
- Finish with a generous drizzle of the burger sauce and serve.
